AI has the potential to significantly change the economics of managing a small CPA firm (MAP). During this series, we will explore how AI is likely to impact the management of such firms and what steps can be taken now to mitigate this risk.
Part #1-Risks From AI Agents: AI Chat is not the big issue, AI Agents pose the biggest risk to MAP. Therefore, in this webinar, we will examine the various risks that AI Agents pose to the management of small CPA firms.
Part #2-Risk Mitigation From AI Agent Implementations-AI Agents are important, but the "AI Shift" of work from low value to high value work will be caused by automation of recurring tasks. CPA firms need to prepare now and be "AI Ready" BEFORE they implement AI agents so they are ready to receive this new higher value knowledge. "Organizational Readiness" is the key to a successful AI Agent implementations. "He/she who fails to plan (for AI Agent Readiness), plans to fail."

I am a Small Business Architect (SBA), Consultant and CPA (Inactive). I design small businesses in order to prepare them for growth and implementations of AI Agents (aka Organizational Readiness). To achieve this, we use our proprietary business model called Financial Harvesting(r). For 30 years, I practiced as a CPA. I also have two masters degrees, one in Health Care Management and a second in Conflict Management. I was previously a Sr. Manager with EY.
